Richard K. Brantley, MD


Dr. Brantley has been a physician in the Charlottesville area since 1997. He did his undergraduate training at Duke University and went to medical school at Vanderbilt University. After completing his residency at the University of Virginia, he joined the UVA faculty in the Department of Internal Medicine. He served on the UVA faculty full time and practiced primary care, taught medical students and residents in the clinic and hospital, and became medical director of University Physicians, Orange. In the Martha Jefferson Community, Dr. Brantley has served on the Institutional Review Board and as the Chief of the Medicine Section.  Currently he is a committee member for the Sentara Quality Care Network.  He enjoys private practice, teaching medical students from the University, and spending time with his family and three young children.


 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
William E. Fox, MD FACP

Dr. Fox has been a physician in the Charlottesville area since 1994. Originally from New Jersey, he did his undergraduate training at Yale University. Dr. Fox went to medical school at the University of Pennsylvania, where he received the Anna Marie Chirico Prize for distinguished work in primary care. Afterwards, he moved to Charlottesville to complete his postgraduate training in internal medicine at the University of Virginia. Before starting his private practice, he served for five years in the National Health Service Corps at Central Virginia Community Health Center in Buckingham, Virginia, while simultaneously working as Clinical Assistant Professor of Internal Medicine at UVA. He continues to teach medical students and residents. Dr. Fox has received numerous honors and recognitions including the American College of Physicians Virginia Young Internist of the Year award in 2010 and the Paul Florentino Volunteerism Award in 2013. In addition to internal medicine, he has a special interest in aesthetic medicine, including minimally invasive cosmetic techniques such as Botox and soft tissue fillers. Deborah M. Henderson, MD FACP


 

Dr. Henderson has been practicing medicine since 1998 and has been a physician in central Virginia since 2004. Originally from Oregon, she received her undergraduate degree from Southern Oregon University and attended medical school at the University of Rochester. After completing residency at Temple University, she practiced internal medicine in the Boston area until relocating to Charlottesville in 2004. Before joining Fox and Brantley Internal Medicine, she was a member of the University of Virginia faculty, practicing primary care medicine and teaching medical students and residents at University Physicians of Orange, where she also served as the medical director. In 2010 she received the Dean’s Clinical Excellence Award from the UVA School of Medicine. She continues to enjoy teaching primary care medicine to medical students and, in addition to internal medicine, has a special interest in women’s health. She enjoys spending time with her husband and three children, is a youth soccer coach for the Soccer Organization Charlottesville-Albermarle (SOCA), and enjoys reading, gardening, and music.
